Happy Halloween!

Luke celebrated his first Halloween as a scary spider. He was quite the popular 8 month old as he was invited to 4 Halloween parties this year. He only attended 3 of them.
Going with the spider theme, I carved a spider pumpkin. Nick did all the hard work of scooping out the inside.
Our neighbors around the corner carved these political pumpkins. I just had to take a picture of them.

Luke and Carter finally meet!

Furry Feet

I had little extra time today and so I decided to go through Luke's clothes. It is amazing how much he has grown over the past few months. Some of his summer clothes look so small. I came across these cute dog slippers that will be great for this winter. I just had to take some pictures. Also... he is holding one of his favorite stuffed animals, RJ. RJ is so cuddly and soft!

BC Fans!

Today we headed out to a BC alumni event in Denver to watch the BC vs Virginia Tech game. Of course we got dressed in our BC gear, including Luke to show our spirit. Go Eagles!

8 months old...

...and still not sleeping! I had three consecutive nights when I COMPLETELY faked out Mom and Dad and powered through the entire night. Just when they started feeling comfortable and hopeful about the situation, I came right back at them with nights and nights of wakefulness PLUS the added fun of my first ear infection! The antibiotics have put the infection on a temporary hold, but I'm still up 2-3 times each night for a little feeding/cuddling. After 8 months, I've learned that I sure do appreciate a good late-night snack!
