First Bebe Pod Experience

And lo, the evolution of humanity is an incremental process. Sometimes, the evolution is a major advance, such as when mammals arose from the sea to walk upon the earth. Other times, the process is more subtle, such as when a human being begins to assume a more upright position. Today, May 1st, 2008, will be the day the goes down in family history as the day when Luke, despite a previously demonstrated preference toward the prone position, arose, simian-like into a sitting posture. True, he had the assistance of a specially designed baby chair, but since his spine was vertical and he was unassisted by parents and even the wind, it qualifies as a developmental leap forward. We, the parents, stand proud today. Tomorrow: calculus!

PS. This was written by Nick, so don't blame Kim.
