We met Sue the T Rex!

Oh no!!!  We nearly escaped being eaten by Sue the T Rex!  Whew!  When it was all over our hearts were pounding and we felt lucky to be alive.  Wes was the only one who did not seem to mind Sue.  Seriously... this is an exhibit not to be missed at the museum of Nature and Science.  Just don't go see the IMAX movie...too scary for a 3 year old.

Merry Christmas! All Aboard...This is the Polar Express...

Merry Christmas!
Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
I especially love this verse since Luke was born on February 10th...2/10

Wes before going downstairs... so excited to see Santa.

Look, Santa and the reindeer ate our treats.

We got a special note from Mr. C!

Many hours were spent watching the Polar Express going around the tree.

After naps we headed over to Grammy and Poppas house for a delicious Christmas dinner.

Wes loved playing with Knapford Station... which will be a great addition to the Thomas  train table.

Gotta love these boys!  All dressed for bed.

Away in a Manger

This very special nativity set was given to us by Luke and Wes' Poppa.  It was his and his brothers as children and is over 60 years old.  Luke was able to tell me who all of the people are and the story of Christmas.  Too sweet!

Preschool Christmas program

Luke's preschool program at Cherry Hills was too sweet!  They listened to a story, sang some Christmas songs and had a birthday cake for Jesus.
Wes just had to sit right next to his big brother during the story.

His class...

Brunch with Santa

Oh how I love all the traditions of this Christmas season.  One of these traditions is to go to Glenmoor and have the boys picture taken with Santa and have a yummy brunch.  It is hard not to eat too much because the food is so wonderful!  The boys enjoyed the cookies the most.

We took a carriage ride as well.

Lights at Chatfield

After the zoo and naps we headed off to see the Christmas lights at Chatfield.  So beautiful!

Me like cookies!!!

Zoo day with Grandad

We braved the somewhat chilly temps and had a great time at the zoo...4 hours total!  It was a perfect day because there were not many people there.  The quote of the day...Luke said, "Mom, those monkeys with the red bums have a rash."
